  Africa of beautiful maidens
  Africa of mighty men
  Africa of innovative youths
  Africa of fertile land
  Africa of favourable weather
   Africa ! My pleasant Africa


   Arise o Africa
   I saw your obituary 😲
   Are you truly dead 😭
   I am yet to believe
   Thou must be asleep
   Arise !!! Sleep not
   Lest generations to come weep

 
   Arise and show forth thyself as before
   Thou land flowing with milk and honey
   Thou land of irreplaceable pearls
   Break loose from the hook of imperialism
   Lest the ones yet unborn gnash thier teeth


   Erase thy shame oh Africa
   Thou art mighty
   Thou art a giant
   Arise and blossom
   Show forth thy beauty
   For the sake of generations to come 😣
   Awake from thy death bed 🥺


   Let African youths be innovative
   Let them create
   Let women weave the strong cords of
   unity
   Let men build the strong wall of love
 

   Let  warriors arise
   Let there be wat against imperialism 🔥
   Yes , we say we are free
   However our affairs are discretely
   controlled by whites
   Shout and sing for liberty 💃
   Break loose !!
   Break the chain loose

   Africa
   Arise from your death bed
   Stronger than ever before
   Show thyself
   Show forth thy abilities
   Thou mighty nation .
